Can-Can you do the Pecan?

You have to say pecan like they do in the south in order for that to rhyme: pee-can. I still say puh-kahn though.

However you want to say it, we have 'em.

We've collected two and a half of these buckets already! I just won a bid on a pecan nut cracker on ebay so we can get crack-a-lackin!

  1. Susan is doing all the hard work shelling them. You've got so many so I know you'll be making pecan pies for Thanksgiving. Delicious. Love, Mom

  6. I'm only anonymous becasue I'm not sure how to do this but I love your home and have enjoyed watching your progress. With all those pecans I wanted to share my no fail super easy pecan pie recipe.

    Pecan Pie

1 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1 cup dark or light Karo syrup
3/4 cup evaporated milk (small can)
    1 egg
    1 cup chopped pecans

Use crust of your choice either homemade or purchased.

    Bake 375° 40 minutes

    Enjoy!
